Postly
It's the best way to share content with friends.

I was hired to revamp the look and feel of the Postly social network platform on desktop. The client was particularly fond of Google’s Material Design aesthetic, which heavily influenced my designs. I met with the client several times, gathering an idea of their particular taste and requirements. After exchanging a couple of mockups, I began digging into the code base implementing the new design.

Part of the project was to also implement several new features into the Postly desktop version. Some of the new features include a new user onboarding process, cleaner user controls for Group management, and patching existing bugs.

After the desktop portion was completed, I was hired on to create the mobile version of the website. As opposed to the original phase of the project with the desktop, there was no pre-existing mobile option. This gave me the freedom to create from scratch. I researched many other social network apps in the spectrum, looking at what they did well and where there was friction in terms of user interaction. I then mocked up the many screens involved with the Postly mobile version, presenting weekly updates to the client.

Both the client and I are very pleased with the final results. Since it’s launch, Postly has been featured by Apple and on Product Hunt.
